Aldosivi vs Argentinos Jrs
Aldosivi are currently the worst team in the Argentine league. Last weekend, they were once again clearly outplayed and fell 2-0 away to Tigre. El Tiburón remain winless in the Clausura, with just three points from three draws and six defeats, having scored only one goal in nine matches. Unsurprisingly, they remain in the relegation zone with seven rounds left in the season. At home, they have drawn three and lost one so far this semester. Roberto Bochi and Giuliano Cerato have served their suspensions and are available.
Argentinos Juniors bounced back in style last Sunday, dominating from start to finish in a 3-0 home win over Banfield. El Bicho snapped a brief two-match losing streak in the league and climbed to 11 points in the Clausura, moving closer to the playoff spots. They also reclaimed fourth place in the aggregate table, just three points away from the Copa Libertadores places. On the downside, Argentinos are winless in their last eight away games, with four draws and four defeats. Matías Giménez has suffered a serious knee injury and will be sidelined for several months. Francisco Álvarez and Erik Godoy return from suspension.
Argentinos finally looked again like the team they were in the last semester and I expect them to beat this awful Aldosivi who will very likely get relegated at the end of the season.
