Argentine Primera Division: Lanus vs Tigre Odds for November 26, 2025

Lanus vs Tigre

Lanús crowned their strong group-stage campaign with a convincing 3-1 home win over Atlético Tucumán on Matchday 16. El Granate thus secured their sixth victory in their last nine league matches (along with two draws and one defeat) and climbed to second place in Group B with 30 points. At home, Lanús are unbeaten in seven straight matches in the Torneo Clausura: they won six and drew one. They ended up eighth in the aggregate table, initially guaranteeing a spot for the Copa Sudamericana, but they will appear in the Libertadores instead: last Saturday, Lanùs became Copa Sudamericana champions by beating Atlètico Mineiro on penalties after a 0-0 draw.

Tigre put up a fight against one of the strongest teams at the moment last weekend, but ultimately fell 2–0 in their visit to Boca Juniors in an intense match. The result ended their eight-game unbeaten run in league play (three wins and five draws). Even so, thanks to other results, they managed to qualify for the playoffs — finishing 7th in Group A with 22 points — and also secured a place in the Copa Sudamericana by ending 9th in the aggregate table.

Even if Lanus is probably a better team overall, they should be quite tired here and maybe also relaxed. Just 4 days ago they won Copa Sudamericana after an exhausting 120 minutes under the heat of Asuncion and they could barely rest to prepare for this game. Tigre are rested and probably more focused, so I’ll trust them here not to lose at least in the 90 minutes.
