Belgrano vs Central Cordoba
Belgrano delivered a disappointing performance in their latest league match, recording a poor goalless draw away to Aldosivi, one of the relegation contenders. El Pirata have now reached eight points in the Torneo Clausura and remain as far from relegation as from the international cup spots, despite having lost only one of their last eight league matches (two wins and five draws). Ricardo Zielinski’s men defeated Banfield 2-1 in their last home game, putting an end to a five-match winless run at their stadium (three draws and two defeats).
CA Central Córdoba had to settle for another point last Sunday, drawing 1-1 at home against Barracas Central in a hard-fought match. Omar De Felippe’s side remain unbeaten in the Torneo Clausura, collecting seven points from one win and four draws, which currently keeps them in the playoff spots. The Ferroviario also stay seven points clear of the relegation zone in the aggregate table. However, they are winless in their last six league away matches (three draws and three defeats). On Thursday, August 22, they lost on penalties after a 1-0 away defeat to Lanús for the return leg of the Copa Sudamericana round of 16.
Central Cordoba comes from a midweek elimination in Copa Sudamericana and should be tired here as they face this Belgrano in good form and with a solid defense, conceding just two goals in 5 rounds so I expect a home win here and at these odds it definitely looks like a good bet.
