Racing – Belgrano
Racing Club showcased their strengths in their 2025 Torneo Apertura debut. Despite starting behind, the team turned the game around to secure an easy 3-1 victory over Barracas Central as visitors at Sarandi Arsenal. La Academia earned their first three points in Group A and their second consecutive league win. Additionally, Gustavo Costas’ side lost just one of their last eight home matches in this competition, with five wins and two draws. Agustín García Basso was substituted due to muscle strain in the last game and is out. Belgrano had an encouraging debut under their new coach, Walter Erviti. In an intense match, the team drew 1-1 at home against Huracán (third place in the last Liga Profesional), earning their first point in the 2025 Torneo Apertura. Unfortunately, El Pirata have been winless in their last three league matches, with two draws and one loss. Belgrano lost their most recent away game (2-1 against Rosario Central) after an impressive run of seven unbeaten away matches (two wins and five draws). The hottest strikers in the league will be on the pitch in this game, Adrian Martinez for Racing, Franco Jara in Belgrano, and others will be as well like Salas and Nicolas Fernandez, so I can’t expect anything but an open game with goals.
