Boca vs Huracan
Boca Juniors suffered a major disappointment on Wednesday when they let a seemingly certain victory slip away in the 92nd minute. On the other hand, Fernando Gago’s men extended their unbeaten run in the league to nine games (five wins and four draws). The Xeneize need their first win in this tournament and will look to capitalize on their strong home form: the side are unbeaten in their last seven national competition matches at home (four wins and three draws).
Huracan had to settle for an undeserved goalless draw against Estudiantes at home on Wednesday, despite being the far superior side and playing with a numerical advantage throughout the second half. With this result, El Globo collected two points from two matches in the Torneo Apertura and are currently on a concerning league run: just one win in their last seven games, along with three draws and three defeats.
Edinson Cavani is back for Boca as they try to get back in form after a poor start. Huracan can be a dangerous team on counters and can definitely hurt them, so I’ll take the OVER here because even though they didn’t score much yet, they have the attacking power to do it.
