Huracan vs Tigre
Huracán had a tough afternoon last Sunday, losing 2-1 away to Boca Juniors with a poor performance. El Globo, who finished third in the 2024 Liga Profesional, have only collected two points in three rounds of the Torneo Apertura and are now on a four-match winless streak in the league (two draws and two losses). On a positive note, Frank Kudelka’s team remain unbeaten in their last eight home matches, winning four and drawing four in that time.
Tigre continue to show improvements compared to last season. Last Monday, the team put in a strong performance and secured a 1-0 home victory over Union Santa Fe, reaching six points in three matches in the Torneo Apertura. This result placed El Matador in the playoff zone and helped ease relegation concerns. In fact, Tigre has won three of their last four league matches, with just one defeat in that span. On the downside, they lost 1-0 to Argentinos Juniors in their most recent away match, breaking a streak of seven points out of a possible nine on the road.
Tigre looks improved, Huracan could score against Boca last weekend, so this totals line looks too low in this match between two teams that can score.
