Independiente Rivadavia vs Estudiantes
Independiente Rivadavia continue to extend their excellent form. Last Monday, the team delivered a great performance to defeat Belgrano 3-0 away, scoring all three goals in the first half. La Lepra became one of the leaders of Group A (alongside Argentinos Juniors and Estudiantes) with seven points in the Torneo Apertura and also extended their unbeaten run in the league to eight matches (six wins and two draws). At home, Independiente haven’t lost in their last eight games, recording four wins and four draws.
Estudiantes are one of the best teams in the league at the start of the season. Last Monday, the team delivered an excellent performance to defeat Racing Club 2-0 at home, with goals from Santiago Ascacibar and Gabriel Neves. With this victory, El Pincha climbed to the top of Group A with seven points (alongside Argentinos Juniors and Independiente Rivadavia). They are now unbeaten in six league matches, winning three and drawing three in that span.
Estudiantes was great, beating one of the best teams in the league Racing, scoring 2 and missing many other chances. Independiente Rivadavia could be a tough rival at home considering they didn’t concede any goals yet but that streak should end against a much better attack like Estudiantes’ so the OVER looks worth a bet.
