Argentinos Jrs vs Huracan
Argentinos Juniors continue to enjoy an excellent start to the season. On Friday, the team put on a great performance and deservedly defeated Unión Santa Fe 1-0 away, with a first-half goal from Nicolas Oroz. With that win, Nicolás Diez’s men became the sole leaders of Group A with ten points (and have yet to concede a goal in the Torneo Apertura). Overall, El Bicho are unbeaten in six straight league matches (four wins and two draws) and won their last three at Estadio Diego Armando Maradona, all by a 1-0 scoreline.
Huracan finally secured their first win of the year. It was a 2-0 victory over Tigre at home on Friday, with goals from Matias Tissera and Matko Miljevic. This triumph ended their negative streak of four league matches without a win (two draws and two losses), bringing their total to five points in the Torneo Apertura. Frank Kudelka’s team have struggled away from home recently, earning just one point from the last 15 available.
Argentinos has been quite solid so far, they are still undefeated and have a nice winning run at home while Huracan are far from the team they were last year when they finish 3rd and their performance when playing away has been terrible so I’m going to trust the hosts here.
