Instituto vs San Lorenzo
Instituto did not have their best performance last Thursday, failing to capitalize on their numerical advantage throughout the second half. However, the 0-0 draw against Union Santa Fe away from home allowed them to remain in the playoff zone in Group B with seven points, despite having won just one of their last four matches (alongside one draw and two defeats). With this result, El Ciclon remain undefeated in the Torneo Apertura, accumulating 11 points from three wins and two draws, staying near the top of Group B, just one point behind leaders Independiente. Additionally, San Lorenzo has won three, drawn two, and lost only one of their last six league matches away from home. Iker Muniain and Ezequiel Cerutti remain sidelined due to injury.
San Lorenzo played their best game in quite some time in the 2-1 win vs Platense as they keep improving this season. They are still undefeated, having conceded only 1 goal and getting consolidated inside the playoffs zone of Group B, so I expect them to at least avoid a defeat here.
