Aldosivi vs Tigre
Aldosivi played their best match of the year so far, but it still wasn’t enough to secure a win. Last Saturday, the team blew a two-goal lead and ended up drawing 2-2 at home against Sarmiento in a heated relegation battle. El Tiburón have collected just two points in eight matches since their promotion (from two draws and six losses), keeping them at the bottom of the point-average table.
Tigre keep improving match by match. Last weekend, they secured a remarkable 2-1 away victory against Talleres, with goals from David Romero and Alfio Oviedo. With this result, Diego Dabove’s team remain one of the Group A leaders with 18 points, having strung together four consecutive wins. This marks a significant improvement from last year, when El Matador would have been relegated if relegation hadn’t been suspended. Additionally, Tigre have now won two straight away games.
Aldosivi might not be improving but at least they are better in attack now, with 5 goals scored in the last 3 games but of the problem is that their defense is not improving at all: they’ve conceded at least twice in each of their last 5 games. Tigre are one of the surprises of this tournament, and even though I’m not going to trust them away this time, I think two goals are definitely possible and the OVER is worth a bet at these odds.
