CA Central Córdoba bounced back with a crucial win in the last round, showing great character to defeat one of the league’s top teams: a 2-1 victory over Tigre (who had been the Group A leader until then) after coming from behind. Argentinos Juniors suffered a shocking setback in their last match, delivering a poor performance in a 2-0 home defeat against Aldosivi, the worst team of the season so far. With this result, El Bicho are no longer the leaders of Group A, remaining at 21 points, now two behind Boca Juniors.
