I am betting Austria here -1.25 in their opening Group J game, I believe they will have too much for first time World Cup qualifiers Jordan who are a team who are only here because of the world cup expansion to 48 teams. The Jordanians have very little in the way of high profile players with captain Musa Al-Taamari of French Ligue 1 side Rennes their best known player and he alongside of Mohammad Abualnadi of Romanian top flight team Corvinul Hunedoara are their only European based players. Austria have not been at a world cup since 1998 but they impressed me at the last Euros, they are a team mainly with German Bundesliga clubs and a team who like to press and whilst that tactic may be an issue later in the tournament when it is warmer with this game is being played at 9pm at night in Santa Clara California where the temperature is expected to be about 21 degrees they should be fine.
