Defensa y Justicia vs Instituto
Defensa y Justicia are making steady progress. They beat Unión Santa Fe 2-0 away last Friday with great authority, thanks to goals from Juan Manuel Gutiérrez and César Pérez. El Halcón have moved into second place in Group A with 24 points, two behind leaders Instituto, after going four matches unbeaten, with three wins and one draw. Thanks to this campaign, they are also just two points away from the final Copa Sudamericana qualification spot in the annual table. At home, Julio Vaccari’s men remain unbeaten in the Torneo Clausura, winning five and drawing one. Instituto once again showed why they are where they are last Friday, going toe-to-toe with Boca Juniors and eventually drawing 2-2 after taking the lead twice, playing as hosts at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes. La Gloria remain comfortable leaders of Group A with 26 points, the highest tally in the Torneo Clausura, and are unbeaten in their last four matches in the competition, winning three and drawing one. As a result of this excellent campaign, Diego Flores’ side are currently in a Copa Sudamericana qualification position in the annual table and just four points behind the final Copa Libertadores spot. Instituto are leaders of Group A but Defensa are just 2 points behind them, with a great undefeated run at home and with midfielder Aaron Molina back after a long injury so I will back them here against this Instituto that won’t have the very important defender Giuliano Cerato.
