Aldosivi vs Estudiantes
Aldosivi continue to struggle more and more in their return to the top division. The team put up little resistance in their visit to Belgrano (who had not won until then) and ended up losing 2-0. After five consecutive defeats, Andrés Yllana’s men remain without points in the Torneo Apertura, keeping them at the bottom of the relegation table. At home, Aldosivi lost three of their last four matches, with only one victory (including last season in the second division).
Estudiantes had a disappointing performance last Tuesday but took advantage of a controversial penalty converted by Lucas Alario in the 78th minute to defeat Banfield 1-0 at home. With this result, El Pincha solidified their position in Group A with 11 points, sharing the leadership with Argentinos Juniors. They also extended their unbeaten streak in the league to eight matches (four wins and four draws). As visitors, Estudiantes have not lost in their last eight outings, winning two and drawing six.
Estudiantes are expected to rotate a lot to rest players after many consecutive games, but they will keep their strong attack of Edwin Cetré and Lucas Alario but I don’t trust the terrible Aldosivi and I prefer to go for the OVER as the hosts have 12 goals conceded in just 5 rounds.
