Atletico Tucuman vs Rosario Central
Atlético Tucumán are coming off a very frustrating defeat two weeks ago, having lost 1-0 away to Deportivo Riestra with a goal in the 79th minute. That result ended a four-match unbeaten run in the league (three wins and one draw) and left them just three points above the relegation zone, with four points so far in the Torneo Clausura. However, El Decano are unbeaten in their last five home games, winning four and drawing one.
Rosario Central delivered a lackluster performance two weeks ago and failed to secure a win in front of their fans, settling for a goalless home draw against newly promoted San Martín SJ. Despite the result, they now have five points in the Torneo Clausura and remain atop the aggregate table, having lost just one of their last 13 matches in the competition (seven wins and five draws).
Despite the good results and having Angel Di Maria in the team, they are still not playing like they are expected to. They couldn’t beat the very poor San Martin, and the two goals they scored in 3 rounds came through controversial penalties so I’ll trust the hosts here who are also on a good run at home.
