Boca vs Talleres
Boca Juniors continue to establish themselves as one of the leading title contenders. Last Sunday, they earned a convincing 2–0 home win over Tigre with goals from Ayrton Costa and Edinson Cavani. With that result, they reached four consecutive league victories and secured first place in Group A with 29 points. In addition, El Xeneize finished second in the 2025 aggregate table, qualifying for the next Copa Libertadores. At home, Boca have recorded four wins, three draws, and one loss in the Clausura. Lautaro Di Lollo is available again after serving his suspension while Rodrigo Battaglia returns after injury.
Already safe from relegation, Talleres earned the point they needed to reach the playoffs last Sunday, drawing 0–0 away to Instituto. After losing only once in their last nine league matches (four wins and four draws), La T reached 21 points and finished seventh in Group B, ending the season five points clear of the relegation zone in the annual table. Away from home, Talleres are unbeaten in five games, with two wins and three draws.
Boca are in good form and should be too much for this Talleres that struggled all year and were lucky to make it to the playoffs in the last round, but considering they haven’t been that solid in defense I’ll go for the OVER. Boca´s last 13 games had at least two goals, and I expect the same here.
