San Lorenzo vs Lanus
San Lorenzo secured a valuable point on their visit to Mendoza two weeks ago, focusing on defense and playing to a 0-0 draw against Godoy Cruz in an intense match. Despite winning just one of their last four league matches (along with one draw and two losses), El Ciclón remains in a playoff spot in Group B with 18 points. On a negative note, San Lorenzo lost their last home match (a 2-1 defeat to Independiente), which ended a four-game unbeaten streak at their stadium (three wins and one draw). As irregular as San Lorenzo has been lately, there’s a constant and it’s that they are strong at home. They were very unlucky to lose against Independiente but their results and performances at home have been good, and at these odds they are worth a bet against a Lanus that has been terrible when playing away.
