Tigre vs Central Cordoba

With that win, Diego Dabove’s men extended their winning streak to five matches in the Torneo Apertura and remain at the top of Group A with 21 points (tied with Argentinos Juniors). Additionally, Tigre won their last four home matches without conceding a single goal.
CA Central Cordoba suffered a tough blow last weekend, losing 3-0 at home to Boca Juniors, an unexpectedly large margin. Despite having a solid season overall, the team are going through a rough patch, now winless in three matches (one draw and two defeats). However, El Ferroviario remain in the playoff zone in Group A, with 14 points. A concerning stat is that Central earned just one of the last 15 points available away from home, with their last away victory dating back to a 3-2 win over Newell’s in November.
