Velez vs San Lorenzo

Emanuel Mammana is doubtful remains out for Saturday after suffering a knee issue just before the last match, while Imanol Machuca sustained a muscle injury and will not be available.
San Lorenzo continue to exceed expectations in 2025. On Sunday, the team put in a great effort and came close to defeating River Plate, one of the strongest teams in the league. The match ended in a 0-0 draw at home, bringing El Ciclon to seven points out of a possible nine in the Torneo Apertura, with two wins and this draw (without even conceding), placing them just two points behind the leaders of Group B, Independiente. Additionally, San Lorenzo won three and drawn one of their last five away matches, with only one defeat in that span. Winger Ezequiel Cerutti will miss out due to a muscle problem.
