Lanus vs Velez
Round of 32 of Copa Argentina, and we have this meeting in neutral ground like all games of this tournament, between two teams that had disappointing league season but are doing well in international competitions.
Lanus lost on penalties last week in the Quarterfinals of the league while Velez completely missed the playoffs, but they are both leading their groups in Copa Sudamericana and Libertadores respectively with one game left so they will go on a break after next week’s matches, and for now they can focus on this Copa Argentina game where they will use their best lineups as they don’t have any important missings.
Velez has scored at least once in their last 6 matches and 9 of their last 10, Lanus is always dangerous in attack with striker Walter Bou and playmaker Marcelino Moreno, so considering this is a one leg series and one goal should open things up, I’ll take the OVER on this very short totals line.
